The Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology (MCP) group took part in the recent congresses organized by the European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology (EFMC) in Porto.
Dr. Diego Muñoz Torrero, Dr. Ana Mallo-Abreu, and Dr. Anna Sampietro attended the EFMC-ASMC International Symposium on Advances in Synthetic and Medicinal Chemistry, where they presented a poster showcasing the latest results from the group’s research.
Subsequently, Dr. Ana Mallo-Abreu and Dr. Anna Sampietro, together with Celia Escherice, actively participated in the EFMC Young Medicinal Chemists’ Symposium (YMCS). On this occasion, Celia Escherice and Dr. Anna Sampietro delivered oral communications presenting their work, while Dr. Sampietro also represented the Spanish Society of Medicinal Chemistry (SEQT) as National Highlight.
Participation in these events provided an excellent opportunity to share the group’s latest findings, strengthen international collaborations, and increase the visibility of the MCP group’s research within the scientific community.
