Professor Santiago Vázquez and his research group participated in the 5th European Symposium and the 1st SIGMA-1 EUROPE Meeting, organized by the COST Action, held in Granada on June 25th and 26th. This prestigious event brought together leading national and international researchers in the field of Sigma-1 receptor physiopathology. Celia Escriche delivered an oral presentation, showcasing the group’s latest research findings. Additionally, Alba López and Javier Sánchez contributed with scientific posters, highlighting other ongoing work from the team. The symposium proved to be a highly enriching and inspiring experience, fostering both scientific exchange and promising new collaborations.
