Workshop targeting neuroinflammation for CNS treatment disorders

Dr Griñan participated in the WORKSHOP TARGETING NEUROINFLAMMATION FOR CNS TREATMENT DISORDERS held by Spanish Society of Pharmacology in Madrid (January 25th 2023). The talk entitled Epigenetic new approaches for Alzheimer’s treatment: TET2  activators and G9a inhibitors, introduced undescribed approaches by which epigenetic therapies mediate changes in neuroinflammation promoting neuroprotection in AD. These two new targe include lysine methyltransferase (G9a) and ten-eleven translocation (TET2) which are in study in our lab, with chemical and pharmacological development to reach a translational deal in next years for Alzheimer’s disease treatment.
