Prof. Lluïsa Pérez-García and Saman Bagherpour participated in the Girona Seminar 2024, which was held from the 28th to 31st of May.
In her plenary lecture, Prof. Lluïsa Pérez-García shared her research experience in synthetic, structural, medicinal, and supramolecular chemistry in the field of nanobiomedicine, including the use of nanoparticles and hydrogels for drug delivery of anticancer agents, especially using photodynamic therapy, and the bio-functionalization of suspended chips to study, tag and actuate inside living cells. She also introduced her research in molecular machines that induce molecular movement on surfaces.
Saman Bagherpour had an oral contribution presenting BODIPY-functionalized silicon oxide microchips for intracellular glutathione sensing.
