Organization and teaching methodology

The teaching activity has theoretical-practical classes, supervised activities and autonomous student work. The teaching methodology includes lectures, colloquiums, class presentations, written works, seminars, visits to biotechnological companies. Talks by professionals who belong to the field of Clinical Immunology, basic research, or applied in the pharmaceutical sector. The Virtual Campus and other electronic resources are actively used during the course. The relevant details of each subject can be found in the teaching plans.

The teaching is face-to-face, in the afternoon from Monday to Friday, and some practice in the morning or tomorrow and late in some cases. Consult the specific timetable for each subject in the timetable section of the WEB, or the Calendar.

Number of new students per course: 44

The classes take place in the Faculty of Biology (UB), in the Faculty of Biosciences (UAB), in the Teaching Unit of the Hospital de la Santa Cruz y San Pablo, in the Teaching Unit of the Hospital de la Vall d'Hebron and Teaching Unit of the Hospital Germans Tries i Pujol. Almost 95% of all the teaching staff in the field of Immunology in the metropolitan area of Barcelona participate in the teaching.
