Knowledge transfer and our relationship to society form the basis of an important line of action for the Faculty of Chemistry, for which social commitment, cohesion and collective construction are key factors. The Faculty’s external relations are organized in three main areas: mobility of students, teachers and researchers; outreach to prospective students, and services for businesses and external organizations.
National and international mobility and exchange programmes improve the quality of higher education and provide academic and professional benefits that contribute to the integral development of the individual. The Faculty of Chemistry thus encourages the mobility of students and teachers, to enrich their training, both personally and academically, through exchange agreements and programmes.
Each year the Faculty organizes a range of activities designed to help secondary school students get to know the Faculty and its course offering.
The Faculty also offers a range of services and events to the business world, in order to further both scientific and technological transfer.
