University master's degrees

These are courses offering advanced training in a specialist area of professional or cross-disciplinary practice; alternatively, they provide students with the official research training required for doctoral programmes. They are official degrees and the fees are government-regulated and have been tailored to comply with the requisites outlined by the European Higher Education Area.
They have a work load equivalent to European degrees, between 60 and 120 ECTS credits, equivalent to one or two academic years full time, with the objective of encouraging and facilitating mobility and the integration of students into the European labour market.
