Information for the student – Electrochemistry. Science and Technology (currently being replaced)
Introduction
Electrochemistry is a factor in the manufacturing of many products we regularly use and consume, including: batteries, power cells, rechargeable batteries, metal production, chlorine production, wastewater decontamination, and much more, leading to a need for high-level specialized training. This master's degree is designed to help meet current training needs in the field of electrochemistry.
The course will provide successful graduates with the capacity to work with industries in which electrochemistry is required and to take their first steps in research in this field.
The master's degree in Electrochemistry. Science and Technology is a joint degree taught at nine public universities (UAB, UAM, UA, UB, UBU, UCO, UMU, UV and UPCT), bringing together a broad spectrum of research groups and teaching expertise. This creates a unique training structure in Spain. The master's degree comprises a total of 60 ECTS credits. Students complete the 20 ECTS credits of compulsory theory subjects and 10 ECTS of compulsory practical subjects over an intensive 6-week period at one of the participating universities, attended by all students and teachers involved in the course, an approach that favours student mobility and the synergy of knowledge. The master's degree is open to students from any country, providing they have sufficient knowledge of the language in which classes are taught.
