The Fluvial & Eolian Research Group (FRG-ERG) at the University of Leeds is currently offering 4 fully funded PhD studentships. The application deadline for these projects is 15th February 2016 . FRG-ERG is part of the Institute of Applied Geosciences at the University of Leeds.
- Deciphering the relative roles of allogenic versus autogenic controls on fluvial system architecture
- Application of quantitative analysis of fluvial sedimentary architecture to improved facies and reservoir modelling workflows
- Fluvio-lacustrine system response to rift- and intermontane-basin evolution: quantitative models of sedimentary architecture
- Modelling fluvial, aeolian and lacustrine response to differential rates of accommodation generation in developing rift and salt basins
