The Group of Neurochemistry has conducted research into simplified models of neurodegeneration of the CNS to better understand the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative processes in humans. During the last years we have focused our research in the study of the neuroinflammatory processes and synaptic plasticity impairment associated with movement disorders.
