Research lines: Formulation, preparation, processing, and characterization of products in the following areas:
- Dispersed systems: emulsions, microemulsions, nanoemulsions, sols, gels, foams, etc.
- Surfactant-based systems (phase diagrams, emulsion stabilization...).
- Polymers and biopolymers (preparation of hydrogels for the food and cosmetic industries, preparation of edible films for the food industry).
- Formulation and characterization of oleogels and bigels for the food and cosmetic industries.
- Particle technology (encapsulation of active ingredients).
- Micro- and mesoporous materials.
- Viscometry and rheology. Rheology services are offered to companies and other research groups.
- Design and optimization of new products.
