Where we are and how to get there

The Department is located in the Faculty of Biology. Scroll down for indications to get there if you are arriving to Barcelona by plane or train.

Public transport

The Faculty of Biology is located in Avinguda Diagonal, public transport station Palau Reial.

Road

There is access to Avinguda Diagonal from Ronda de Dalt/C-32, exit 10 or 11.

There is access to Avinguda Diagonal from A-2 and B-23.

Air

There are different options to get to the Department from the airport:

By taxi
By metro

Aeroport ⇒ Zona Universitària
Zona Universitària ⇒ Palau Reial

It takes 10 minutes walking from Zona Universitaria metro station to Palau Reial.

By train

The train station is located 200 meters from the T2 terminal. A footbridge connects the airport with the station without having to go outside. The line that stops at the airport is R2. You have connection to Barcelona Sants train station, from where you can get to the Department by public transport.

By bu s

- Aerobús A1 and A2: stop at Plaça Espanya.
- Line 46: stop at Plaça Espanya.
From Plaça Espanya you can come by public transport (metro, bus) or by taxi (the stop is in front of Plaza Hotel).

Private transport

Take the C-31 from Avinguda de l'Aeroport. Then take the Ronda de Dalt / C-32 to Avinguda Diagonal in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat until exit 11, continue on Avinguda Diagonal and turn right onto Carrer Martí i Franqués.

The railway station Sants Estació is at 2.5 km from the Faculty of Biology.
