A member of METEO-UB, Prof. Javier García-Serrano, has recently been appointed as member of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) for strengthening the collaboration between WWRP [World Weather Research Programme] and WCRP [World Climate Research Programme], with a particular link to the Working Group on Subseasonal to Interdecadal Prediction (WGSIP) and the Working Group on Numerical Experimentation (WGNE).
