The Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Barcelona is a leading centre in the teaching of economics, business, statistics and sociology. It is the faculty with a longest tradition of university education in these areas in Catalonia.

The range of official programmes on offer includes bachelor's and master's degrees as well as doctoral programmes. In addition, the Faculty understands the importance of executive education and offers specific lifelong learning courses, including five bachelor's degrees and three double degrees, alongside master's degrees, postgraduate courses and prestigious doctoral programmes.

Bachelor's degrees currently last four years. Students of all programmes acquire the skills required to undertake professional activities in their fields.

University or interuniversity master's degrees are designed to help students specialize in a particular area.

Doctoral degrees are the highest academic distinction that students may attain during their training and authorize holders to teach and carry out research at university level.
