Credit recognition is the process by which credits obtained for different courses of study or awarded for relevant professional experience are included in a student’s academic record and count towards the required study load for the master's degree.

The process is governed by the general regulations on credit recognition and credit transfer for university master’s degrees at the UB.

Specific regulations of the faculty on transfer of credits for master's degrees.

As stated, the total number of recognized credits cannot exceed 15% of the total credit load of the course of study.

Appendix A1 lists the specific documentation required for the different types of credit recognition that students may request.

Requests for credit recognition and transfer must be submitted to the Master’s and Doctoral Office of the Faculty of Economics and Business, using the form provided.
