Career opportunities

The training provided by the master's degree in Labour Economics on the functioning of labour markets and the impacts of labour policies is becoming increasingly relevant and necessary in both the private and public sectors. Each of these areas therefore requires people with the training to understand, interpret and manage these phenomena. Specifically, there is a natural market for graduates of the master's degree ranging from international bodies (ILO, IMF, World Bank or OECD) to large institutions with analysis and research services.
Additionally, there are a variety of think tanks, non-governmental organizations, trade unions, federations and private consultancies that require specialists in these areas. In the public sector, there are job opportunities that match the skills profile acquired in this master's degree:
- European Commission
- Ministries
- Regional institutions and government departments
- City councils
- Public administration employment services
- Bodies that manage training funds and other sources of funding for active labour market policies
