El Club Español de Magnetismo (CEMAG) ha concedit a la seva IXª edició el Premi “Salvador Velayos” a l’ Amílcar Labarta i en Xavier Batlle, conjuntament amb el Prof. Benjamín Martínez (ICMAB-CSIC), per “la seva contribució a l'estudi del magnetisme de partícules petites i de sistemes complexos, i per la seva contribució i gran aportació a la creació de noves generacions de científics/ques que han seguit la seva tradició investigadora.”. El lliurament del premi tindrà lloc durant la propera Reunió Anual del CEMAG, a Almagro a finals de 2025. El Premi “Salvador Velayos” té com a objectiu valorar la destacada tasca en Magnetisme de persones científiques o tecnòlogues que desenvolupen la seva tasca a Espanya.

The Spanish Magnetism Club (CEMAG), in In its IX^th edition, has awarded the “Salvador Velayos” Prize to two members of IN2UB, Amílcar Labarta and Xavier Batlle, together with Prof. Benjamín Martínez (ICMAB-CSIC), for “their contribution to study of the magnetism of small particles and complex systems, and for their great contribution to the creation of new generations of scientists who have followed his research tradition.” The award ceremony will take place during the next CEMAG Annual Meeting, which will take place in Almagro at the end of 2025. The Salvador Velayos Award aims to value the outstanding work in Magnetism of scientists or technologists who carry out their work in Spain.
