Abstract: We are on the cusp of an unprecedented influx of spectroscopic and photometric galaxy survey data, probing the cosmic origins of inflation, precisely measuring neutrino masses, and distinguishing between dark energy, dark matter and modified gravity models. With the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) and Euclid already mapping vast portions of the universe, advancing these science goals with the next era of galaxy surveys requires more than adding cosmic volume; it demands increasing density! However, standard cosmological tools focused on large scales do not fully leverage this increased galaxy density, making accurate modelling of small, non-linear scales and the development of innovative methods crucial. In this talk I will provide an overview of some of these methods I am developing within our group in Edinburgh and a new modelling framework to access cosmological information from non-linear scales. Finally, I will discuss the impact of these novel methods for future galaxy surveys.
