The bachelor's degree in Geography offers theoretical and technical training necessary for students to acquire a good knowledge of the territory and the tools that enable knowledge. It promotes the development of skills in the use of specific techniques to analyse the space and the Earth.
It aims to enable future geographers for the analysis and synthesis of information, encouraging reflection and criticism. Likewise, the degree provides geographers with tools to contribute to the debates that consider the relations between society and the physical environment and to empower them to make decisions, solve conflicts and build agreements.
It provides the opportunity to work on topics such as land planning and management, its conservation and administration, and provides students with skills for employment and competences to carry out specialized studies. The bachelor's degree in Geography also seeks to stimulate critical thinking, a motivation for quality and ethical commitment.
