Faculty

The Faculty of Nursing is a recently established centre of higher education and research.  The history of the UB's School of Nursing dates back to the 1977 when, under Royal Decree 2128/1997, university studies in nursing, taught until that year at the former School of Technical Healthcare Auxiliaries of the Faculty of Medicine, were officially constituted as a university diploma course.

The tradition and history on which our current studies are built provided the foundations for the School of Nursing's conversion into the Faculty of Nursing in 2023. The city of Hospitalet de Llobregat is home to the Faculty of Nursing, located on the Bellvitge Campus alongside other faculties. The quality of our tuition has won us recognition as the leading faculty of nursing in Spain and one of the foremost centres of nursing education in the world.

The Faculty is currently divided between two campuses, where its different courses of study are taught: the Clínic Campus and Bellvitge Campus.
