Objectives and competences

To provide a solid training in theoretical and practical aspects of literature from a universal and comparative perspective.
Develop competences and skills related to literary theory and criticism, such as a reflective and speculative attitude, the acquisition of methods of literary analysis and the use of genre theory, hermeneutics, the poetic-rhetorical tradition and the methodology of comparative literature.
Provide the basis for literary research.
