The Faculty of Philology and Communication hosts the second Open Day Session for prospective students
On April 3 and 4, 2025, the Faculty of Philology and Communication at the University of Barcelona held the second session of its Open Days, aimed primarily at high school and vocational training students who will begin their university studies in the upcoming academic year
The sessions, which filled the classrooms, included informative presentations designed to guide prospective students through the faculty's academic offerings and the opportunities that await them.
The events were divided into two parts: a joint session for the Philology degrees and a separate session for the Bachelor's degree in Communication and Cultural Industries. During these sessions, future students had the opportunity to hear directly from professors about the curriculum, course content, and potential career paths associated with each program.
Participants also learned about the internship and research opportunities available at the University of Barcelona, as well as the experiences and life at the Faculty, and had the chance to resolve any questions they had.
Through this initiative, the Faculty of Philology and Communication aims to continue guiding prospective university students with an academic offering that is adapted to new challenges and ensures preparation for an increasingly dynamic job market.
