Approval of the research plan/monitoring report 2025-2026

Program-specific requirements, in addition to those indicated in the general submission and presentation instructions:
Writing and language: The document must be written in any of the program’s languages and may not exceed 10 pages in length.
Format: 12-point font, 1.5 line spacing.
Doctoral students must present their Research Plan and/or their progress (annual report) in in-person sessions scheduled by the monitoring committees of each research line within the program. Alternatively, the committees may request that doctoral students submit a video of no more than 5 minutes explaining their Research Plan and/or progress.
Required documentation in PDF format and digitally signed:
- Documents corresponding to the Research Plan and the Personal Training Plan, in accordance with the content and characteristics established by the Program’s Academic Committee.
- Documents corresponding to the Annual Follow-up Report of the Research Plan and the Activities Document (DAD), in accordance with the content and characteristics established by the Program’s Academic Committee. The DAD must include the training activities carried out from the beginning of the doctoral studies up to the present time.
- A reasoned and agreed-upon report from the thesis supervisor, or supervisors (Research Plan / Annual Follow-up Report).
If the Academic Committee accepts the submitted Research Plan or follow-up report, it must notify the doctoral student and inform the supervisors and the tutor. The decision will be communicated to the doctoral student by electronic means.
If the Academic Committee does not accept the submitted Research Plan or follow-up report, it must determine the period allowed for the doctoral student to resubmit a new Research Plan, which in no case may exceed six months from the date of submission of the first application. To prepare this new plan, the doctoral student must take into account the suggestions and improvements indicated by the Program’s Academic Committee.
If the Academic Committee does not accept the new Research Plan or follow-up report submitted, the doctoral student will be permanently withdrawn from the program
