Support and guidance

Throughout the entire study period, from the admission application phase to the obtaining of the degree, the master's coordinator, together with all the professors of the program and, especially, those in charge of directing the master's final theses support and guide the student in order to help him increase his academic performance and successfully complete the study program.

The student is also informed about extracurricular training activities, training stays outside the UB (Erasmus programs, or equivalent), calls for grants and national and international research contracts.

At the end of the first semester of teaching, the student is assigned a tutor who, from that moment on, will guide him in the research project he intends to carry out (TFM) and which this tutor will direct.

Personalized attention to the student

The student can request tutoring with the master's coordinator at any time. To do so, you will need to make an appointment by writing an email to figueras@ub.edu.

The visiting hours of the professors of the master’s are published on the doors of their offices, in the display cases of announcements of the Department of Hispanic Philology, Theory of Literature and Communication and on the virtual campus of the subjects they teach.

In the Tutorial Action Plan that follows, you will find detailed information on all the guidance and support processes offered by the master's degree to students throughout the study program.
