Teaching Innovation and Research Conference
The Faculty of Psychology of the University of Barcelona will hold the Teaching Innovation and Research Conference on 4 February 2026. The event is aimed at academic staff and seeks to showcase and share teaching innovation initiatives and educational research currently being developed at the Faculty.
The conference is promoted by the Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs and Students and the Head of Studies of the Faculty, and will feature strong institutional representation, with the participation of Conxita Amat, Vice-Rector for Teaching Policy at the University of Barcelona, who will open the event with a presentation of the UB Academic and Teaching Model.
The programme includes presentations of teaching innovation projects, contributions on the responsible use of artificial intelligence in learning, narrative methodologies, strategies to support master’s final projects, as well as REDICE projects presented in poster format. Throughout the morning, experiences related to the integration of a gender perspective in the classroom, learning with social responsibility, innovation in psychological assessment and the improvement of student engagement will also be shared.
The opening session will be led by Montserrat Celdrán, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology.
Recognition and registration
Attendance and participation in the conference will be accredited as teacher training by the Institute of Professional Development (IDP-ICE).
Prior registration is required, both for attendees and for those presenting a paper or a poster.
