Es tracta d\u2019un jaciment arqueol\u00f2gic de gran inter\u00e8s hist\u00f2ric. All\u00ed s\u2019hi va empla\u00e7ar el primer monestir cistercenc de Catalunya (origen del de Santes Creus) i s\u2019hi constru\u00ed el Palau Reial del Valldaura, lloc d\u2019esbarjo per als monarques de la Corona d\u2019Arag\u00f3.
