La participaci\u00f3 d\u2019Espanya al concurs ha deixat nombrosos moments ic\u00f2nics, can\u00e7ons que han esdevingut aut\u00e8ntics himnes i artistes que han marcat generacions. Per commemorar aquesta traject\u00f2ria musical de 64 anys, presentem un recull de les tres actuacions espanyoles m\u00e9s significatives de cada d\u00e8cada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El festival es va inaugurar l\u2019any 1956, al Teatre Kursaal de Su\u00efssa, on van participar nom\u00e9s 7 pa\u00efsos: Su\u00efssa, B\u00e8lgica, Pa\u00efsos Baixos, Alemanya Occidental, Fran\u00e7a, Luxemburg i It\u00e0lia. Despr\u00e9s de cinc anys de retirades i incorporacions, va debutar Espanya, juntament amb Iugosl\u00e0via i Finl\u00e0ndia, marcant una xifra de r\u00e8cord de setze pa\u00efsos participants. La primera representant espanyola va ser Conchita Bautista, amb <em>Estando Contigo<\/em>, que va obrir la gala, per\u00f2 finalment va quedar novena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La incorporaci\u00f3 d\u2019Espanya als anys seixanta va suposar un gran \u00e8xit per al pa\u00eds, ja que dos anys seguits es va endur el premi. L\u2019any 1968 Massiel va coronar-se amb<em> La La La<\/em>, fet que va convertir Madrid en la seu del festival del 1969, on Salom\u00e9 va guanyar empatada amb tres pa\u00efsos m\u00e9s amb <em>Vivo Cantando<\/em>. L\u2019any 1974 va destacar per la vict\u00f2ria del grup suec m\u00e9s exit\u00f3s, ABBA, i tamb\u00e9 per la participaci\u00f3 de l\u2019actriu Olivia Newton-John com a representant del Regne Unit. Aquell any Espanya va quedar en una posici\u00f3 interm\u00e8dia, per\u00f2 va portar un dels millors \u00e8xits espanyols del segle XX: <em>Canta y S\u00e9 Feliz <\/em>de Peret. Uns dels moments m\u00e9s emblem\u00e0tics va ser amb \u00bf<em>Qui\u00e9n Maneja Mi Barca<\/em>? de Remedios Amaya, que, malgrat quedar \u00faltima sense rebre cap puntuaci\u00f3, va passar a la hist\u00f2ria per cantar descal\u00e7a. L\u2019any seg\u00fcent Espanya no es va desaminar i va aconseguir el seu millor resultat de la d\u00e8cada: <em>Lady, Lady, Lady<\/em> de Bravo va quedar en tercera posici\u00f3. La tercera can\u00e7\u00f3 espanyola amb la puntuaci\u00f3 m\u00e9s alta va ser <em>Vuelve conmigo<\/em> d\u2019Anabel Conde. L\u2019any 1999, Espanya va tenir la seva pla\u00e7a a la final assegurada, ja que juntament amb el Regne Unit, Alemanya i Fran\u00e7a van formar el \u201cBig Four\u201d, per ser els quatre majors contribuents financers a la Uni\u00f3 Europea de Radiodifusi\u00f3, de la qual dep\u00e8n el Festival de la Can\u00e7\u00f3. L\u2019any 2011 Operaci\u00f3n Triunfo va fer una pausa, i el 2017 va tornar a Televisi\u00f3 Espanyola. La primera seleccionada va ser <em>Slomo<\/em>, de Chanel, que va obtenir la puntuaci\u00f3 m\u00e9s alta que Espanya ha aconseguit mai en una final, amb 459 punts i la tercera posici\u00f3 entre quaranta pa\u00efsos: el millor resultat des del 1995. La va prosseguir Blanca Paloma amb <em>Eaea<\/em>, que el 2023 va obtenir 100 punts.
