The Actuarial Day 2018 was celebrated on March 16 at the University of Barcelona. The Actuarial Day is the main event in the Challenge program of the UBZurich Chair. In this event participating teams of the Challenge program present their concluding results of the business case.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this edition, 18 students from the UB Master of Actuarial and Finance Sciences, organized in five teams, participated in the business case \u2018Digital Life Insurance\u2019. The teams were working during four weeks in the business case under the guidance of Javier Rodriguez (Zurich Life Chief), Elisabet Hern\u00e1ndez (Zurich Life Proposition Manager) and Mar\u00eda Pilar V\u00e1zquez (Zurich Life Insurance). The winner was announced during the Actuarial Day 2018 ceremony. The Zurich Experience Award 2018 was awarded to the Alpha team consisting of the master students Emma Bonet, Maria Carmen Casademunt, Javier Fincias and Ferran Iglesias. Members of the Alpha team will visit the headquarters of the Zurich Insurance Group in Zurich (Switzerland) as part of the Zurich Experience Award. The Actuarial Day 2018 ceremony was presided over by Carlos Esteban (Director of Human Resources and Corporate Social Responsibility Zurich), Mercedes Ayuso (UBZurich Chair director, University of Barcelona), Miguel Santolino (Director of the UB Master of Actuarial and Finance\u00a0 Sciences) and Javier\u00a0 Rodriguez. During the ceremony Elisabet\u00a0 Hern\u00e1ndez\u00a0 gave the lecture\u00a0 entitled:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ub.edu\/rfa\/docs\/ubzurich\/actuarial_day_master_class_2018.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cThe protection of the insurance customer: an opportunity for the
