Los terrenos k\u00e1rsticos muestran formas de relieve distintivas y un drenaje subsuperficial dominante, que puede provocar problemas ambientales y de ingenier\u00eda relacionados con hundimientos (dolinas), deslizamientos, inundaciones o contaminaci\u00f3n de los acu\u00edferos. Los peligros relacionados con el karst han ido aumentando debido a la expansi\u00f3n de las zonas urbanas y al cambio global en las \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas. En consecuencia, los peligros naturales y humanos relacionados con el karst est\u00e1n recibiendo una creciente atenci\u00f3n por parte de la comunidad cient\u00edfica y las administraciones. La investigaci\u00f3n del karst epig\u00e9nico e hipog\u00e9nico requiere una investigaci\u00f3n multidisciplinar, que debe integrar la cartograf\u00eda geomorfol\u00f3gica, teledetecci\u00f3n, seguimiento geot\u00e9cnico, exploraci\u00f3n geof\u00edsica, excavaci\u00f3n de zanjas y an\u00e1lisis retrodeformacional.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-2 fusion_builder_column_1_6 1_6 fusion-one-sixth fusion-column-last fusion-no-small-visibility\" style=\"--awb-bg-blend:overlay;--awb-bg-size:cover;width:13.3333%;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-column-wrapper-legacy\"><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-3 fusion_builder_column_1_6 1_6 fusion-one-sixth fusion-column-first fusion-no-small-visibility\" style=\"--awb-bg-blend:overlay;--awb-bg-size:cover;width:13.3333%; margin-right: 4%;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-column-wrapper-legacy\"><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-4 fusion_builder_column_2_3 2_3 fusion-two-third\" style=\"--awb-bg-blend:overlay;--awb-bg-size:cover;--awb-margin-bottom:30px;width:65.3333%; margin-right: 4%;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-column-wrapper-legacy\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-2\"><h3>Objetivos<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>determinar factores ambientales (litol\u00f3gicos, clim\u00e1ticos, antropog\u00e9nicos, etc) que controlan los procesos de disoluci\u00f3n karstica y los riesgos de hundimiento a diferentes escalas desde dolinas hasta extrusiones-diapiros salinas. Las \u00e1reas de estudio incluyen los sistemas karsticos evapor\u00edticos de los valles del Ebro y Fluvi\u00e0 (NE Pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica) y karsticos carbonatados en la Pen\u00ednsula de Florida (Norteam\u00e9rica).<\/li>\n<li>determinar los factores hidrogeomorfol\u00f3gicos y clim\u00e1ticos que controlan los drenajes naturales de rocas \u00e1cidas en las zonas de monta\u00f1a. Esta colaboraci\u00f3n se materializa en la participaci\u00f3n conjunta en proyectos y contratos competitivos (Iberdrola, Endesa).
