Four TA Scholarships awarded to graduate students in Economics for their outstanding records
Four Teaching Assistant (TA) Scholarships have been awarded to graduate students in Economics at the University of Barcelona for their outstanding academic records. Two scholarships have been awarded to Tania Fernández and Juan Torrecillas, who have started their PhD in 2016, after having completed a master’s at the University of Barcelona and the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics respectively. Fernández’s research is focused on Labour and Demographic Economics, while Torrecillas focuses on Economics of Education, Labour, Demographic Economics and Urban Economics. The two remaining scholarships were awarded to MSc in Economics students Sem Duijndam and Carles Mañó, who finished their undergraduate degree in Economics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam and the Universitat de València respectively. The four recipients will perform teaching support activities at the Faculty of Economics and Business, devoting 32 hours a month to teaching support tasks.
