The provider of economic intelligence reports Focus Economics seeks a Junior Economist with strong writing skills based in Barcelona. The candidate should have finished a degree in Economics and should have a very good knowledge of macroeconomics. The position requires excellent writing and communication skills in English. Experience in journalism and report writing is a strong asset for this position. The successful candidate will research, analyse, interpret and write news on economic developments, maintain comprehensive databases of economic indicators and forecasts, prepare and write reports and publications, prepare regional summary reports and support senior economists in their research and projects.
