Juan de la Cierva Grants 2016 for young doctors – Call for Applications
Young doctors may apply for a Juan de la Cierva Grant announced by Spanish Ministry of Economy in order to promote recruitment in R&D centres. Specifically, the Juan de la Cierva grant for training (Juan de la Cierva-formación) are aimed at candidates that have been awarded their PhD between 2015 and 2016, while the Juan de la Cierva grant for incorporation (Juan de la Cierva-incorporación) are aimed at doctors were awarded their degree between 2012 and 2014. The former help to complement the postdoctoral training at R&D centres other than that where the candidate was awarded his or her PhD, the latter are intended as a reinforcement of capabilities which have been acquired during the first stage of the postdoctoral training. The application period will open in January.
