The third edition of the UB Economics Summer School gathers 25 people form thirteen countries
The UB Economics Summer School “The Economics of Imperfect Labour Markets” has gathered 25 people from thirteen different countries. The third edition of this programme took place at the Faculty of Economics and Business from 4th to 8th July, 2016. During five days, students examined aspects such as minimum wages, anti-discrimination legislation, employment protection legislation and unemployment benefits. Summer School lecturers include guest scholar from the Tilburg University (The Netherlands) Jan van Ours and UB’s professor at the Department of Econometrics, Statistics and Applied Economics Antonio Di Paolo. The Summer School takes place in the framework of the University of Barcelona International Summer School, which has gathered over 300 people from more than 25 countries.
