UB Economics PhD Job Market candidate profiles 2016/2017 are now available
The list of PhD candidates who are going to the Job Market has been announced this week. A preview of our candidates can be viewed on our Job Market page. Currently Ata Atay, Celia Melguizo, Ilias Pasidis, Francisco Robles and Pere Timoner are nearing completion of their doctoral theses. All five PhD candidates are ready to be considered for job opportunities in world universities and research centres. Our candidates will be available for interviews and meetings at the SAEe 2016 in Bilbao, RES PhD Meetings 2017 in London, and most of them at the ASSA Meeting 2017 in Chicago. The Placement Officer for the 2016/2017 academic year is Dr. Elisabet Viladecans-Marsal and the Placement Assistant is Jordi Roca Solanelles. In recent years, our PhD students have obtained positions at top universities such as LSE, University of Sussex, University of Warwick, Northwestern University, Heidelberg University and Autonomous University of Barcelona.
