UB’s Alfonso Herranz and Amedeo Piolatto granted BBVA’s funding for research
University of Barcelona’s researchers Alfonso Herranz Loncán and Amedeo Piolatto have been granted funding from the Fundación BBVA to undertake research projects. BBVA’s funding amounts to a maximum of 40.000 euros per project. A total of 60 scholarships have been awarded in the 2016 call. Herranz Loncán is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business. His research interest include infrastructure and growth and history of public policies. Piolatto is a research fellow at the Barcelona Economics Institute (IEB) and Assistant Professor at the University of Barcelona since September 2010.
