I aquestes diferents formes de soledat tenen el mateix impacte sobre la salut mental i els resultats laborals? Aquestes preguntes s\u00f3n especialment rellevants en els mercats de treball actuals, marcats per l\u2019estr\u00e8s, la precarietat i els canvis en les formes de treball.<\/p>\n<p>A l\u2019estudi <em>Workplace and non-workplace loneliness: a cross-sectional comparative study on risk factors and impacts on absenteeism and mental health among employees in Spain<\/em>, els nostres investigadors Joan Dom\u00e8nech-Abella i Jordi Mund\u00f3, juntament amb Josep Maria Haro (Institut de Recerca Sant Joan de D\u00e9u) i Carles Muntaner (Universitat de Toronto), analitzen la prevalen\u00e7a, els factors de risc i les conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncies de la soledat entre les persones empleades que viuen a Espanya, diferenciant entre la soledat experimentada a la feina i fora de l\u2019\u00e0mbit laboral.<\/p>\n<p>A partir de dades d\u2019una enquesta duta a terme el 2024 a 5.400 persones ocupades, l\u2019estudi mostra que la soledat \u00e9s molt prevalent en tots dos contextos. Un 40,7\u00a0% de les persones treballadores afirma experimentar soledat laboral, mentre que un 42\u00a0% declara patir soledat fora del lloc de treball. Tot i aquests percentatges similars, la coincid\u00e8ncia entre ambdues menes de soledat \u00e9s limitada, cosa que indica que la soledat laboral i la no laboral estan relacionades per\u00f2 constitueixen experi\u00e8ncies diferenciades.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019an\u00e0lisi mostra que les persones joves i les persones treballadores immigrants tenen m\u00e9s probabilitats d\u2019experimentar soledat en ambd\u00f3s contextos. Tanmateix, tamb\u00e9 emergeixen difer\u00e8ncies importants. Factors sociodemogr\u00e0fics com ser dona, no estar aparellada o no ser heterosexual s\u2019associen exclusivament amb la soledat no laboral, mentre que les condicions de treball s\u00f3n un factor clau en ambd\u00f3s casos, amb un paper m\u00e9s destacat en la soledat laboral.<\/p>\n<p>Nivells elevats d\u2019estr\u00e8s laboral i de precarietat laboral s\u2019associen de manera consistent amb una major probabilitat de soledat. A mesura que augmenta la precarietat laboral, la probabilitat d\u2019experimentar soledat s\u2019incrementa de manera notable, fet que posa de manifest l\u2019estreta relaci\u00f3 entre les condicions d\u2019ocupaci\u00f3 i el benestar social.<\/p>\n<p>De manera especialment rellevant, tant la soledat laboral com la no laboral tenen efectes independents i significatius sobre diversos resultats. Les persones que experimenten soledat presenten m\u00e9s probabilitats d\u2019absentisme, aix\u00ed com un augment dels s\u00edmptomes de depressi\u00f3, ansietat i trastorn per \u00fas de subst\u00e0ncies. Aquestes associacions es mantenen s\u00f2lides fins i tot quan es tenen en compte simult\u00e0niament ambdues formes de soledat.<\/p>\n<p>En conjunt, els resultats suggereixen que la soledat entre les persones ocupades no es pot entendre nom\u00e9s com un problema individual o social ali\u00e8 a la feina. Molts dels seus determinants tenen l\u2019origen en el mateix entorn laboral. L\u2019estudi subratlla la import\u00e0ncia de millorar les condicions de treball i reduir la precarietat laboral com a part d\u2019estrat\u00e8gies m\u00e9s \u00e0mplies per abordar la soledat, millorar la salut mental i reduir l\u2019absentisme entre la poblaci\u00f3 treballadora.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Descobreix m\u00e9s coses sobre la recerca de la UB School of Sociology!
