The UB School of Sociology researcher Marta Soler<\/a> has been elected president of the European Sociological Association during the ESA Conference 2019 in Manchester. She will hold the presidency of the association until 2021. Marta Soler was awarded a PhD from the Harvard University. She is also the president of the Catalan Sociological Association.<\/p>\n
