The European Sociological Association (ESA) will hold its biannual congress this summer in Barcelona. It will take place from August 31st–September 3rd, and 3,000 sociologists from all over Europe will gather to discuss different research and key aspects of sociology.
Prior to this, on April 17th-18th a hackathon will be held, an event open to everyone in which participants are invited to get together to develop ideas in different areas related to the conference. In a hackathon, a series of topics are proposed and work is carried out in teams. From among all the resulting proposals, a jury will decide which one is the winner.
Participation is free of charge and all you need to do is register to take part, and be willing to spend time working cooperatively with other colleagues and exchange creative ideas. More information: https://www.europeansociology.org/esahackathon-registrations-open
