Our researcher Iolanda Bianchi has received the Bleddyn Davies Prize for Best Paper by an Early Career Researcher, awarded by the journal Policy & Politics, for the article “The democratising capacity of new municipalism: beyond direct democracy in public–common partnerships”.
The paper examines the democratising potential of new municipalism, moving beyond traditional approaches to direct democracy by exploring the role of public–common partnerships. The study offers a fresh perspective on citizen participation and democratic innovation in local governance.
