This initiative, promoted by the UB\u2019s Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit (UCC+I), aims to foster dialogue between university experts and society, creating a shared space for reflection on current debates.<\/p>\n<p>The opening session will be held at the Alta\u00efr Bookshop (Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 616, Barcelona) under the title <em>\u2018Pantalles a l\u2019aula: eina educativa o distracci\u00f3 digital?\u2019<\/em>. The discussion will focus on the pedagogical value of digital devices in schools and on the challenges of promoting effective and critical use of technology in education.<\/p>\n<p>The event will feature our researcher <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ub.edu\/school-sociology\/es\/miembros\/gallo-pedro\/\"><strong>Pedro Gallo de Puelles<\/strong><\/a>, and <strong>Cristina-Isabel Galv\u00e1n Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>, from the Department of Theory and History of Education at the Faculty of Education. The session will be moderated by <strong>Marga Becerra<\/strong>, from the UCC+I.<\/p>\n<p>The science caf\u00e9 will address questions such as the role of schools in the digital training of citizens, the social, family and legislative implications of regulating the use of screens in classrooms, and the tensions between educational policy, scientific evidence and social reality.<\/p>\n<p>This first meeting of the year will offer a critical and participatory dialogue on a topic that directly affects everyone: <em>how do we educate in times of screens?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Attendance is free but limited to forty people and requires prior registration. <strong>Register <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/web.ub.edu\/ca\/web\/laubdivulga\/pantalles-a-l-aula\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 26 September, at 18:00, will take place the first session of this year\u2019s activity \u2018Caf\u00e8s cient\u00edfics de la UB\u2019.
