Geoscientific Databases

Multi-source, interdisciplinary databases for science and society

Our group is committed to open, transparent and reusable science. As part of this commitment, we curate and maintain a series of geological databases compiled through decades of fieldwork, laboratory analysis and collaborative research across topics ranging from evaporite basins and critical mineral deposits to volcanostratigraphy, fluid flow and rock diagenesis.

All datasets are structured following FAIR principles — Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable — and are deposited in institutional and official repositories to guarantee their long-term preservation and discoverability. Where applicable, datasets are accompanied by a peer-reviewed data description paper, providing full methodological context and ensuring the scientific traceability of every record.

We firmly believe that geological knowledge gains its greatest value when shared openly.
