The Philosophy and Gender Seminar will participate in the 2026 Feminist Conference: Feminisms in Revolt 1976-2026 with the activity “Resonances: voices of thinkers for our time”, a collective proposal that stages dialogues between thinkers built on words that challenge the members of the Seminar.

The activity is based on the idea of ​​resonance as a form of transmission and genealogy: fragments of thinkers such as Hannah Arendt, Simone Weil, María Zambrano, Susan Sontag, bell hooks, Carla Lonzi, Françoise Collin and Judith Butler, as well as texts by Mireia Calafell and the Manifesto di Rivolta femminile, will be read, interpreted and put in relation to central questions of our present.

The intervention will have a format choral and participatory, the result of the joint work of different members of the Seminar. Through readings, quotes and textual compositions, the proposal seeks to bring to light a network of voices that, from different times and contexts, continue to challenge current ways of thinking about freedom, the equality and the presence of women in the common world.

The activity will take place on Sunday, June 14th, 10 to 11:30 a.m., at Ignasi Iglésias Library – Can Fabra, inside the premises Fabra i Coats. It is a non-mixed activity, aimed at women, lesbians and trans*. The conference will be held on June 12, 13 and 14, 2026 and access is free and free of charge.
