University Microcredential: The Transmission of Thought and Culture of Women. Tools for Teaching

In the 2026 academic year, the university micro-credential certificate entitled The Transmission of Women’s Thought and Culture. Tools for Teaching
will be available.
It is organized by Elena Laurenzi, researcher at the Philosophy and Gender Seminar. Other members of this group are also part of the teaching team: Àngela Lorena Fuster, Stefania Fantauzzi, and Pau Matheu.

The course offers tools to approach the thought of philosophers such as Hannah Arendt, Simone Weil, or María Zambrano with a critical and rigorous perspective. It provides resources for interpreting philosophical texts from a gender perspective and for applying innovative teaching methodologies. The approach is contemporary, interdisciplinary, and pedagogical, with the aim of facilitating the transmission of this thought in a clear and meaningful way.

The course is delivered in person and is organized into 10 sessions of 3 hours each, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. It will take place from January 27, 2026, to March 31, 2026, every Tuesday, and on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Barcelona (Montalegre, 6). It is aimed at professionals in the educational, cultural, or publishing fields; people with previous knowledge of philosophy or experience in disseminating critical thought; and other agents interested in incorporating a gender perspective into teaching, cultural mediation, or publishing.

You will find more information and instructions for registration on the website of the Institut de Formació Contínua – IL3 of the University of Barcelona and on the page of the University of Barcelona. The course admits a maximum of 20 attendees.
