Antonio Viayna
Antonio is a Lecturer Professor in the Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Sciences, Department of Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, and Physical Chemistry. He studied Pharmacy, completing his degree in 2012. After that, he gained 2 years of experience in pharma/vet companies (GRIFOLS and EURISKO) in Quality Assurance and Analytical Development areas.
From 2014 to 2019, he pursued a PhD in computational chemistry and drug design, with a special focus on conformational studies of small molecules and drug discovery for new antimalarials under the supervision of Prof. F. Javier Luque. Also gaining experience in biological assays in the lab of Prof. José Manuel Bautista (in the Universidad Complutense de Madrid). After his PhD, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nutrition, Food Sciences, and Gastronomy for almost 6 years.
