Dual pathways: Economics - Statistics

At the University of Barcelona we have designed a curriculum that allows you to study both Economics and Statistics simultaneously. The programme requires that you complete an approximate total of 390–420 credits in five-and-a-half years, studying subjects from both degrees.

This dual pathway allows you to obtain two EHEA bachelor’s degrees in less time, and in a more coordinated way than taking them independently. If you want to be able to understand and explain our economic reality, take advantage of data collection and processing, and acquire an understanding of the theories, principles and analytical techniques of these two disciplines, Economics and Statistics, this is the programme for you.
 
Choosing this UB-UPC joint degree means you will have access to the services and expertise of both universities.

 Dual pathways web (UB)

• In the private sector: analytical departments (cost analysis, analysis of foreign markets, market research, financial and risk analysis, etc.).
• In the public sector: training in statistics and economic knowledge (official institutes of statistics, demography and social security, the job market, public health departments, health services, etc.).
• In any of the areas covered in the EHEA bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Statistics.
