Literary Theory and Comparative Literature

What you will learn

The principles of comparative literature and the skills required in the practise of literary theory and criticism, including the abilty to engage in literary enquiry and extrapolate from issues in texts, and the consolidation of the methods that are used in literary analysis and in the study of genre theory, heremeneutics, poetry, rhetoric and comparative literature.
