The knowledge provided in the Master's Degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Biomedical Engineering could open up a wide range of opportunities in different areas. Some of the professional competences associated with this master's degree are activities related to innovation and the conception, design, manufacture, assessment, certification and marketing of health and social products and services.
Students are trained in technical and scientific, practical and technological, economic and business (innovation and entrepreneurship) areas, and gain an overview of biomedicine and health problems.   • Capacity to assess and address the needs for technology transfer and innovation, patents and entrepreneurial culture in the field of biomedical engineering.
  • Capacity to identify the main problems in the health sector and address them using economic and statistical tools.
  • Capacity to understand and analyse the different types of innovation in organisations and the relationship between innovation and competitiveness in companies, in relation to the development of medical technologies.
  • Capacity to assess the reasons for government intervention in the healthcare market and in medical products and services and the tools used to assess, improve or design health policies.
