Introduction
The University Master's Degree in Sports Psychology and Physical Activity responds to the needs of a socially relevant area, that of sport and physical exercise, which has now been consolidated as a field of research and application of psychology.
On the one hand, the psychology of sport aims to improve the performance and well-being of athletes. This goal is achieved by teaching them psychological techniques and strategies or by advising their families, trainers and managers as an indirect intervention, so that the athlete is able to develop as a person and performs better.
On the other hand, the psychology of physical activity helps professionals in the health sciences and physical activity fields to establish an active lifestyle in the population in general, thus improving the quality of life and avoiding sedentary lifestyles.
