Learning objectives:
General objective:
- To strengthen the introduction of competence-based teaching-learning processes in teaching activity.

Specific objectives:
- Encourage lasting changes in teaching practice through the experimentation of new curricular approaches and innovative didactic and assessment strategies that are congruent with the competence-based teaching-learning model.
-To act as an agent for dissemination, awareness-raising and training of colleagues at their schools in the introduction of a competence-based teaching model.

Recommended applicant profiles and admission requirements:
Teachers and technical staff from primary and secondary levels of the educational system in the Dominican Republic.

Admission for applicants not holding a degree qualification:
Students who are not university graduates may be admitted on these courses. These students will be eligible for a university extension course certificate.Information regarding the entry requirements in this case can be obtained from the course coordinators.
