Learning objectives:
- Acquire the basic theoretical principles of a culture of peace, interculturality and social coexistence.
- Acquire a range of practical resources to solve problems of social coexistence and peace.
- Acquire the skills required to implement practical applications to society.

Recommended applicant profiles and admission requirements:
- Social agents daily facing conflicts derived from social coexistence in all areas: educators, teachers, professors, psychologists, health personnel, social workers and managers of not-for-profit institutions and NGOs.
- Applicants who work in administrative positions (city councils, provincial councils or autonomic governments) where they must respond to situations of violence and lack of social cohesion.
- Graduates in humanities, philosophy, anthropology, education, psychology, geography and history or anyone with an interest in the construction of a culture of peace in different areas of society.

Admission for applicants not holding a degree qualification:
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
